Fuel firms to roll back prices today

Metro Manila, September 6 ------ Oil companies announced they will slash prices of petroleum products effective today.

Caltex, Cleanfuel, Flying V, Petro Gazz, PTT Philippines, Seaoil, Total, and Unioil will reduce per-liter rates of gasoline and diesel by P2.60 and P1.60, respectively. Caltex, Flying V, and Seaoil will likewise adjust kerosene prices downward by P1.55 per liter.

According to the Department of Energy’s Aug. 30 oil monitor, there have been per-liter increases of P19.55 for gasoline, P37.80 for diesel, and P33.20 for kerosene since the start of 2022.
