‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ to end in September?

June 24 ------ Will Cardo Dalisay say goodbye after five years of fighting and saving lives on the small screen? This has been the question of some loyal viewers as several reports claimed “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” will come to an end by September.

Actors of the series, including its lead star Coco Martin, have resumed taping following three months of break due to the imposition of home quarantine caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Some netizens alleged one of the reasons for the show’s ending is that Congress has yet to renew the franchise of ABS-CBN.

On May 5, the media giant went off-air to comply with the cease and desist order of the National Telecommunications Commission. To date, no one from the show has addressed the rumor. In the meantime, fans are happy to know that Susan Roces will also resume taping for the series.

The 78-year-old actress plays the role of Lola Flora. Reports have it she will shoot all of her scenes at home, so as to assure her health and safety.
