September 13 ------ Filipino Olympic bronze medalist Eumir Marcial will face a dangerous test when he collides with Venezuelan power puncher Eddy Colmenares on the undercard of the Thrilla in Manila 50th anniversary on October 29 at the Araneta Coliseum.
Marcial, 6-0 with 4 knockouts, is coming off a third-round stoppage of Bernard Joseph earlier this year on the undercard of Manny Pacquiao vs Mario Barrios. He is currently deep in training camp in Las Vegas for the upcoming clash. Colmenares, meanwhile, could present the toughest challenge yet for Marcial. Holding a record of 11-2-1 with 11 knockouts, all of his wins have ended via stoppage. The Venezuelan has had a busy year, too, having fought twice already in 2025.
The upcoming bout between the pair will be for the vacant WBC international middleweight title.
