Esnyr treats family to first Japan trip with his hard-earned money

January 9 ------ Content creator-turned-actor Esnyr John Ranollo, popularly known for his mononym, marked a personal milestone after he brought his family on their first international trip to Japan after years of hard work.
Esnyr took to Instagram to share highlights from their family trip. The video included clips of the group posing at the famous attractions in Japan. It also featured clips of Esnyr taking his parents shopping. “After years of hard work, I’m finally able to bring my family on their first international trip to Japan [teary-eyed emoji],” read the actor’s caption. Esnyr previously made headlines after he opened up about his emotional struggles, including paying off huge family debts and his then-strained relationship with his father during his stint on the first edition of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab.”
The 24-year-old first gained a household name on the internet for his viral content on TikTok, where he creates relatable videos about the experiences of high school students and the like. Esnyr then made his acting debut in the 2021 film “Love Is Colour Blind,” top-billed by Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano. He also starred in the award-winning movie “Balota,” featuring Marian Rivera. Esnyr most recently appeared in the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry “Call Me Mother,” top-billed by Vice Ganda and Nadine Lustre. He is set to appear next in the upcoming GMA mystery series “The Secrets of Hotel 88.”
