Eala ready for SG Open

MANILA, Philippines, September 21 ------ Alex Eala will plunge back to action at this week’s Singapore Open, where she will come in as the No. 3 seed.

The 21-year-old will head straight into the Round of 16 after a first-round bye, looking for a deep run in the 500-level event after her third-round finish at the last US Open.

Eala will face either No. 165 Tatiana Prozorova of Russia or No. 150 Sofia Costoulas of Belgium on Wednesday.
