Donna Cruz’s son Cian earns degree in medical biology, graduates magna cum laude

August 5 ------ Donna Cruz and her ophthalmologist husband Yong Larrazabal III could not contain their pride as their son Cian graduated from college with Latin honors. 

Yong shared Cian’s achievement, showing the latter’s graduation photo via his Instagram page last Sunday, July 28. “My boy is graduating Magna Cum Laude today! I couldn’t be any prouder,” Yong said. “Cian is finishing his Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Biology today.” Addressing Cian, Yong continued, “Congratulations, son! Your mom and I are beaming with pride at your accomplishment and because of what you have done with the opportunities presented to you.”  

Yong also commended his son for “[not wasting] the chance to carve [his] own dreams and aspirations,” wishing for the latter to continue doing great to do good to others. “Remember that every accomplishment is not only ours to celebrate but also for others to benefit from. May your degree be more than just a piece of paper. I hope it also serves as a call to be there for the community,” Yong said.
