DonBelle is back: Belle Mariano, Donny Pangilinan gear up for film comeback

February 2 ------ DonBelle fans are in for a treat, as Belle Mariano and Donny Pangilinan are confirmed to return to the big screen.

Mariano and Pangilinan’s film comeback was announced by ABS-CBN’s Star Cinema on Instagram on Sunday, February 1. The post also contained photos of the onscreen pair facing the camera with wide smiles and looking at each other. “DonBelle is making us fall in love ALL OVER AGAIN! This 2026, Donny Pangilinan & Belle Marinao finally reunite for the big screen—ABANGAN!” the post read.

Further details on Mariano and Pangilinan’s upcoming film, including the director, writer, storyline, and castmates, are yet to be revealed. Known as one of the leading loveteams in the 2020s, Mariano and Pangilinan’s onscreen partnership rose to prominence after working together in the series adaptation of “He’s Into Her.” They have since worked together on several films and TV projects such as “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “Love is Color Blind,” and “An Inconvenient Love.”

Both of them have since done solo projects in 2025, with Mariano as one of the lead stars in the family drama film “Meet, Greet & Bye,” and Pangilinan leading the action drama “Roja.” Despite this, they showed their support for one another, having appeared at each other’s premiere events.
