DOH bares initial list of PhilHealth GAMOT Providers in NCR

MANILA, August 28 ------ The Department of Health (DOH) has announced the initial rollout of Guaranteed and Accessible Medications for Outpatient Treatment (GAMOT) Providers accredited by the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) in the National Capital Region (NCR).


In a Viber photo message sent to reporters, the DOH noted the initiative enables members to access essential medicines from designated partner pharmacies and medical centers. The accredited providers in NCR include:

- CGD Medical Depot Inc.(Quezon City)

- VidaCure(Alabang and Cubao)

- Chinese General Hospital & Medical Center(Manila)

- Pharm Gen Ventures Corp. (Generika Drugstore) – with branches in Parañaque, Navotas, Quezon City, and Taguig


Meanwhile, the list of medicines covers anti-infection, anti-thrombosis, anti-asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease treatments, supportive therapies, and maintenance medicines for diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease, among others. Here are the list:

(Anti-infectious, Albendazole, Amoxicillin, Azithromycin, Cefixime, Cefuroxime, Ciprofloxacin, Clarithromycin, Clindamycin, Clotrimazole, Cloxacillin, Co-amoxiclav, Co-trimoxazole (Sulfamethoxazole + Trimethoprim), Doxycycline, Erythromycin, Fluconazole, Ketoconazole, Mebendazole, Metronidazole, Nitrofurantoin, Oseltamivir, Tobramycin)


Anti-thrombotics (Clopidogrel, Aspirin)


Anti-asthma and COPD (Budesonide + Formoterol, Fluticasone + Salmeterol, Ipratropium, Montelukast, Prednisone, Salbutamol

Ipratropium + Salbutamol, Tiotropium)


Supportive/Other Therapy (Aluminum Hydroxide + Magnesium Hydroxide, Butamirate, Celecoxib, Cetirizine, Colchicine, Chlorphenamine, Diphenhydramine, Ferrous Salt (Iron Preparations), Folic acid + Iron Ferrous, Ibuprofen, Lagundi (Vitex Negundo), Loratadine, Mefenamic Acid, Naproxen, Omeprazole, Oral Rehydration Salts, Paracetamol, Zinc)


Anti-diabetics (Dapagliflozin, Gliclazide, Metformin)


Anti-dyslipidemia (Atorvastatin, Fenofibrate, Rosuvastatin, Simvastatin)


Anti-hypertensive and Cardiology (Amlodipine, Atenolol, Captopril, Clonidine, Diltiazem, Enalapril, Enalapril + Hydrochlorothiazide, Hydrochlorothiazide, Isosorbide Dinitrate, Isosorbide Mononitrate, Losartan, Methyldopa, Metoprolol

Tamsulosin, Telmisartan, Telmisartan + Hydrochlorothiazide, Valsartan, Valsartan + Hydrochlorothiazide)


Nervous System (Gabapentin)


About 21 of the listed drugs were already included in the PhilHealth Konsulta (covered under PhilHealth Konsulta for Calendar Year 2025). The DOH said the government is committed to making primary health care more accessible and responsive to the needs of Filipinos.
