MANILA, June 9 ------ Diesel prices are rising again this week, while gasoline prices may fall or increase.

The Department of Energy said the following price adjustments can be expected today June 9, Tuesday:

Diesel P3.77 — P5.77 hike

Gasoline P1.70 rollback or P0.30 hike

Kerosene P6.10 — P8.10 hike

Shell said it will implement the following hikes on Tuesday.

Gasoline P0.30 increase

Kerosene P4.75 increase

Diesel P4.85 increase

Other fuel firms have yet to announce final adjustments as of this posting. Since the country is still under a state of national energy emergency, the government dictates weekly price adjustments. A number of motorists, meanwhile, have complained on social media that some gas stations have jacked up prices midweek until today, a day before the actual price adjustment.

The DOE has yet to address the issue, but in previous interviews, the government has advised complainants to file formal complaints through the e-gov app portal. Meanwhile, independent LPG manufacturer Regasco has announced a P1.00/kilo reduction starting June 9, 2026. Regasco president Arnel Ty said this is due to the reduction in shipping cost of around $15 per metric ton.
