March 28 ------ Motorists may face another round of fuel price increases next week, with diesel seen rising by P11 to P12 per liter and gasoline either inching up by as much as P3 per liter or staying flat, a fuel industry executive said.

The company official, who asked not to be named, said the projections were based on the first four days of global oil trading. The executive said the estimates remain preliminary and could still change once the full five-day trading week is completed. The initial forecast placed diesel prices at a price increase of P11 to P12 per liter and gasoline at as much as P3 per liter, or remain unchanged.

If the preliminary estimates hold, the price of RON 91 gasoline could range from P85.60 to P105.50 per liter, while diesel could range from P118 to P146.30 per liter.
