MANILA, Philippines, April 23 ------ Local oil companies will implement mixed adjustments in pump prices effective today. The oil firms said the price of gasoline would increase by 55 centavos per liter while pump prices of diesel and kerosene would be slashed by 95 centavos per liter and P1.10 per liter, respectively.
Cleanfuel will apply the pump price adjustments on Tuesday at 12:01 a.m. while Shell Pilipinas and Seaoil will follow at 6 a.m. The announcement comes a week after oil companies implemented hefty increases per liter in pump prices: gasoline by 40 centavos, diesel by 95 centavos, and kerosene by 85 centavos.
