Daniel Padilla earns nomination at Seoul drama awards for ‘Incognito’

June 25 ------ Kapamilya actor Daniel Padilla has been nominated for Outstanding Asian Star at the 20th Seoul International Drama Awards for his standout performance as Andres Malvar in the hit ABS-CBN action-drama series “Incognito.”

On its official social media pages, ABS-CBN’s talent management arm Star Magic shared a photo of Daniel alongside the announcement of his nomination. “A nomination as SUPREME as his title! Rooting for your victory as ‘Outstanding Asian Star’ in this year’s Seoul International Drama Awards,” Star Cinema stated.

Star Cinema highlighted this latest milestone in Padilla’s career, noting how he continues to impress not only as a dramatic actor but also as an emerging action star. This isn’t Padilla’s first time being nominated in the Outstanding Asian Star category. He was also part of the roster of nominees in 2023 for his role in another hit ABS-CBN series, “2 Good 2 Be True,” where he starred alongside his former girlfriend, Kathryn Bernardo, who was also nominated for the same category.

In 2024, fellow Kapamilya star Kim Chiu won the plum for her role as Juliana Lualhati in the drama series “Linlang,” also in ABS-CBN. This year’s Seoul International Awards ceremony will again be held on October 2 at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul, South Korea. The winner for Outstanding Asian Star will be determined through fan voting.
