MANILA, Philippines, May 22 ------ From a year-long slump, Harmie Constantino re-established herself as the undisputed force of the Ladies Philippine Golf Tour, turning the final round of the ICTSI Caliraya Springs Championship into a masterclass of composure for a whopping six-stroke, wire-to-wire victory over Mafy Singson with a closing 68.

The emphatic win marked a roaring return to form for the 2024 Order of Merit champion. After a frustratingly quiet stretch last season, Constantino reminded the field of her pedigree on the very same layout where she scored her second victory in a stirring four-title run two years ago. As Singson failed to mount a serious charge and the rest of the field faded in sweltering conditions at mid-noon, Constantino played virtually pressure-free golf.

Meanwhile, Keanu Jahns holed out with a bogey on the 18th, forcing him to settle for a six-under 66 – still enough to propel him into solo lead at 15-under 201 and within arm’s reach of defending his ICTSI Caliraya Springs Golf Championship title. Just one stroke behind at 202 are multi-titled veterans Zanieboy Gialon and Tony Lascuña. Gialon spiked a 66 with an ace on No. 14, playing with the steady, aggressive precision needed to dismantle Caliraya’s defenses. If he maintains his momentum, he has the explosive scoring ability to overtake Jahns and re-claim the crown he won in the event’s inaugural staging in 2022.
