Comelec's online precinct finder now live

April 24 ------ The Commission on Elections (Comelec) announced that its online precinct finder for voters to determine their registration status as well as their assigned Post or clustered precinct. Comelec said that voters can also find out which voting center (school) they are assigned to vote at on Election Day on May 12. This is in addition to the previously delivered Voter Information Sheets (VIS) which likewise contain the same information plus an official sample ballot with the corresponding official list of national and local candidates.
According to the poll body, in order to utilize the system properly, voters, after proceeding online to https://voterverifier.comelec.gov.ph or https://precinctfinder.comelec.gov.ph, must input their first name, middle name, and last name, as they have exactly and correctly provided during their voter registration and as reflected in the Comelec Central Database.
Next, they will select the Place of Registration (Province and City/Municipality for Local/In-Country Voters, or Post/Embassy for Overseas Voters) and start searching after confirming or editing information and the Data Privacy Notice. After this, the system will display the voter's Complete Name, together with the Place of Registration, the Status of Voter Registration (Active, Deactivated, no record, or Multiple Records), and the pertinent polling information (Clustered Precinct Number and Polling Place/Voting Center).
Comelec reminded that the information displayed will be based on the latest data submission by Comelec Field Offices and Philippine Embassies and Posts, and the exact data provided by the voters during their registration as reflected in the Comelec National List of Registered Voters.
