Coco Martin, Julia Montes say ABS-CBN 'will rise again'

MANILA, April 17 ------ Actors Coco Martin and Julia Montes expressed support for ABS-CBN, saying the network would "rise again" despite the challenges it faced.

In a joint statement released on social media on late Wednesday through CMM Film Productions, the real-life partners said that while ABS-CBN faced challenges in its financial stability, it had "remained steadfast in our commitment to serve the Filipino people while continuously working toward recovery and rebuilding."

"No one wishes to see ABS-CBN cease operations— especially at a time when it needs support the most following the loss of its franchise. We will not allow the hope, passion, and spirit of our Kapamilya community to be diminished," Martin and Montes said. "We remain committed to fulfilling our mission for the millions of Filipinos who continue to rely on and engage with ABS-CBN. We believe that ABS-CBN will rise again. Thank you for your continued trust, love, support, and loyalty, our Kapamilya," they added.
