Cloudy skies, scattered rains will prevail over parts of Luzon —PAGASA

June 25 ------ Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over parts of Luzon due to the southwest monsoon, PAGASA said Thursday afternoon. In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency said Ilocos Region, Apayao, Abra, Benguet, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Bataan, Zambales, Cavite, Batangas, Occidental Mindoro, and Northern Palawan, including Kalayaan Islands, will be affected by the said weather condition.

PAGASA advised affected residents to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to, at times, heavy rains. Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon or localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides are also possible due to severe thunderstorms.

Further, PAGASA said moderate winds and moderate coastal water conditions will prevail over the northern section of Luzon. The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters.
