Claudine Barretto laments Julia Barretto not given the right showbiz projects

June 8 ------ They may not be on good terms but actress Claudine Barretto has high regards for her niece actress Julia Barretto. In an interview, Claudine was asked to give her two cents about the “outdated” career of Julia, daughter of her sister Marjorie and comedian Dennis Padilla. Claudine said she does not want to think Julia’s career is “failing.” She lamented that Julia was not given the right showbiz projects.

Claudine noted that even before Julia got involved in controversies, they were all waiting for good projects to come to her. She believes that the presence of love teams such as KathNiel, JaDine, and LizQuen may have affected the career of Julia. “Medyo nega nasusulat para sa pamangkin ko pero at the end of the day, pamangkin ko pa rin yun” said she. “Di ako naniniwala na babagsak siya” Claudine added.

Claudine noted that she had been in Julia’s shoes so many times, particularly during her “rebellious day.” She also said that Julia would make it in showbiz because she belongs to talented celebrity clans of Barrettos and Padillas.
