CJ Navato is the winner of ‘Sing Galing: Sing-lebirty Edition’

March 25 ------ After competing against stars with impressive vocal abilities, CJ Navato emerged as the victor of “Sing Galing: Sing-lebrity Edition Ultimate Pasingkatan: The Grand Kantawanan” with his performance of Gary Valenciano’s “Warrior is a Child.”

Navato bested fellow Sing-lebrities Johannes Rissler, Alexa Miro, Jay Gonzaga, Monic Icban of the SexBomb Girls, and Nikki Valdez to claim the grand prize at the Meralco Theater. The finale episode aired on TV5 on March 14, 15, 21, and 22. “You always have to listen to whatever your heart is telling you. You have to know what your heart sounds like, kasi it will lead you to where you are supposed to be,” he said of his victory.

The actor-singer brought home the following prizes: P500,000 cash prize, three-day and two-night stay at the Kalaiyaan Coast, P100,000 worth of furniture from Sylpauljoyce and Solano Hotel, a Bida-Oke trophy designed by Alon Palisoc, and P500,000 for his chosen beneficiary.

Rissler took home the runner-up spot and P250,000 prize for his chosen beneficiary, while Miro and Gonzaga were awarded P200,000 for their grantees. On the other hand, Valdez and Icban brought home P100,000 for their beneficiary.
