Chito Miranda-Gary V collab on new song

Metro Manila, January 20 ------ Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda shared that he and Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano will soon release a “song about love.”

Miranda said he is grateful to work with Valenciano, who is his uncle. He added that the project was also made possible with the help of songwriter and composer Jonathan Manalo.

“Pero sa tagal tagal namin magkasama, ngayon lang kami nagkaroon ng legit na collab on an original song," Miranda said in his Instagram post. “Ilang buwan naming tinutukan ito, and with the help of our friend @jonathanmanalo, we were able to come up with a beautiful song about love. Thanks Tito @garyvalenciano for giving me the opportunity na gumawa ng kanta kasama mo, at i-perform yung song para mga tao that we wrote the song for,” he added.

Miranda and Valenciano worked together last year as judges in the second season of “Idol Philippines," a reality singing TV competition, alongside Regine Velasquez and Moira dela Torre.
