BSKE voter registration begins today

MANILA, Philippines, October 20 ------ As the nationwide voter registration for the 2026 barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections (BSKE) begins today, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) has initiated a special program for Filipinos in Metro Manila who are unable to return to provinces.

Voters can register until tomorrow at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, Rizal Park’s Mabini Hall and Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange. “The Special Register Anywhere Program is open to all,” the Comelec posted on social media.

Outside Metro Manila, the program will be held until April 24, 2026.

Voter registration for the BSKE will be held from Oct. 20 to May 18, 2026.

Comelec Chairman George Garcia said they are hoping 1.4 million people will register to vote.
