Black Eyed Peas officially introduces Fil-Am singer J. Rey Soul in new single

April 16 ------ Iconic hip hop group Black Eyed Peas has finally unveiled Filipino-American singer Jessica Reynoso, otherwise known by her stage name J. Rey Soul, in their newest single titled "Mamacita." Released on Friday, April 10, the song, and its accompanying '60s-themed music video, served as a kind of introduction to the 22-year-old Pinay vocalist more than a year after she became a member of the group. Apl. de. ap, who is also a Filipino-American, recruited J.Rey Soul after she joined his team on the first season of reality singing competition "The Voice of the Philippines." Since then, J.Rey Soul has worked with Black Eyed Peas in the band’s latest record "Masters of the Sun Vol. 1," and joined them as a featured artist in their European, Latin America and Pacific tour legs in 2019. Aside from J.Rey Soul, "Mamacita" also featured award-winning Puerto Rican reggaeton and Latin trap singer Ozuna, who is known for his hits "Te Bote", "Adicto", and "Taki Taki."
