BINI overwhelmed with the Kapamilya thanksgiving event

May 13 ------ Cheers, thank you’s, and a lot of love filled the walls and halls of the ABS-CBN ELJ Executive Lobby when BINI stepped on the red carpet of the Kapamilya Thanksgiving event.

Kapamilya employees, talents, and executives gave their warm welcome and appreciation for the eight-member girl group, after their successful Coachella debut, guesting at the Grammy Museum, and the Global Force Award they received from the Billboard Women in Music in Hollywood.

BINI’s leader, Jhoanna, was admittedly overwhelmed with the resounding welcome they received. “Kanina sa van bago po kami bumaba hindi po namin in-expect na... Deserve ba namin 'to na nagtipon sila dito and nag make time for us?” “Sabi nga ng mga friends ko, para siyang Miss Universe, parang boxing ni Pacquiao, parang match kasi grabe ang anticipation ng mga tao,” said Maloi. After the festivities at the lobby, the girls went straight to Studio 10 for a brief program. A tribute video was played that highlighted the journey of BINI from their training days up to today.

During the Q&A session, the girls shared some exciting and interesting anecdotes from their Coachella experience -- from Mikha’s slip, to emotional moments backstage before and after their performances, the girls went candid in sharing the fun times.

A photo op session followed, where Kapamilya employees got the chance to pose with BINI onstage. “Kapamilya, thank you so much po sa paggising nang maaga at sa pag-effort po na pumunta po lahat dito. Alam namin na may gagawin pa po kayo today, pero sana, sana po, nabigyan po namin kayo ng energy para sa mga gagawin ninyo today,” said Jhoanna.

Admittedly, they are excited for what’s to come and new milestones to reach. First on their list is their upcoming world tour that will kick off this June at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. “We’re gonna have another, multiple sets of rehearsals,” said Aiah. Meaning new choreography, new dance breaks, and a new setlist? “We shall see, for sure naman para may ibang flavor naman.”
