BGYO, BINI take on MTV Asia with P-pop performances

December 28 ------ P-pop groups BGYO and BINI have taken the spotlight of MTV Asia as they wowed fans with performances for its “MTV Jammin'” series.

BGYO showed off their dance moves while singing their popular track “The Baddest,” on MTV Asia’s YouTube channel recently. MTV Jammin’” is MTV Asia’s weekly series which features stripped down performances of various artists. “Thank you MTV Asia for featuring us on ‘MTV Jammin,’ we are BGYO!” the group said. Aside from “The Baddest,” BGYO also performed their song “Magnet” on “MTV Jammin'”. Both performances for the series were filmed in New York.

Meanwhile, BINI sang and danced to their song “Strings” on the weekend. This is a follow-up to another episode of “MTV Jammin'” where the group performed “Na Na Na.” “It’s everybody’s first time here at New York. First of all, it’s very very cold here. Everyone is shivering and freezing and it’s very different from the Philippines, but we love it here,” the group said. “We love how it’s very bright and there’s so many lights here, so many people too.”

BGYO is a five-member Filipino boy group that debuted last year. Meanwhile, BINI is an eight-member girl group under ABS-CBN’s Star Magic.
