July 18 ------ Bea Alonzo opened up about how she has been more forgiving and kinder to herself, saying this year feels much calmer for her than 2024. The actress spoke about how much she has evolved in the past year and how she has enjoyed this shift in her life, in a conversation with Dr. Aivee Teo shared on the latter’s YouTube channel. “I enjoy different things now compared to what I used to enjoy before,” Alonzo said, referring to her juggling hats as an actress and entrepreneur.

But last year, I really allowed myself to get to know myself even better,” she continued.

Alonzo then shared how she learned to be kinder to herself and to honor what she is going through. She also recalled veering away from social media to focus on herself. “I realized that it’s okay to make mistakes… Last year, I realized that we’re just humans and we can make mistakes,” she said. “Right now, I’m being kinder and more lenient, forgiving when it comes to myself. Alonzo also admitted during the interview that she still has something she wants to attain in her personal life. “We all know what that is,” she said, opting not to expound on it. When asked how she would describe the current phase in her life, Alonzo reiterated, “I guess I’m just calm. I’m in a serene place, and I’m okay… Sometimes, being calm means being happy.” Alonzo previously described 2024 as the “hardest year” of her life. It can be recalled that she called off her engagement with actor Dominic Roque that year.
