'Bayaniverse' film returns to PH theaters for one week

March 26 ------ TBA Studios' "Bayaniverse" films based on Philippine historical figures are returning to cinemas for one week.

TBA Studios made the announcement on its social media posts that its biographical movies “Heneral Luna,” “Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral,” and “Quezon” will return to select cinemas nationwide from March 25 to March 31. For its return, the tickets are priced starting at P150 only.

The "Bayaniverse" film series started in 2015 with "Heneral Luna," starring John Arcilla ,which follows the life and death of General Antonio Luna during the Philippine-American War. In 2018, "Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral" starring actor Paulo Avelino was released. It tells the story of Gregorio "Goyo" del Pilar, one of the youngest generals in Philippine history.

Last year, the historical biopic "Quezon," chronicling the life of Manuel L. Quezon, the President of the Commonwealth of the Philippines was released. It stars actor Jericho Rosales as Quezon.
