Barbie Forteza, David Licauco share how they maintain their chemistry and friendship

September 15 ------ Barbie Forteza and David Licauco are now starring in their first-ever lead roles as a love team!

In an interview on “Updated with Nelson Canlas,” Team BarDa revealed how they maintain their chemistry and their friendship amid their love team’s popularity. “I guess, we stay grounded and syempre hindi naman namin malilimutan kung saan nagsimula ang spark talaga ng BarDa, which was in ‘Maria Clara at Ibarra’ na napakaimportanteng proyekto rin naman talaga for everyone,” the Kapuso Primetime Princess said. Barbie added that she and David always support each other. “And 'yong friendship, isa rin ‘yun sa siguro ginagawa naming motivation para galingan pa sa work,” she said.

Meanwhile, David highlighted Barbie’s talent as an actress.“I think si Barbie kasi napakagaling na actress, siya ‘yung tipong give and take,” the Pambansang Ginoo said. “And aside from that, marami akong natutunan sa kaniya, from the very beginning, from ‘Heartful Cafe’ to ‘Mano Po’ and ‘Maria Clara [at] Ibarra,’ to the movie, and now na nandito na kami sa ‘Maging Sino Ka Man.’ Like, nakita ko na napakagaling ni Barbie na actress,” he continued. David added that he’s certain Barbie is the best actress he has worked with. “I'm actually sure na siya ‘yung pinakamagaling na actress na nakawork ko sa industriyang ‘to,” he said.

Barbie and David are currently starring in “Maging Sino Ka Man.” During its premiere, the series delivered heart-stopping action scenes. It also topped the trending topics on X, formerly known as Twitter, in the Philippines.
