MANILA, Philippines, July 26 ------ The PBA will hold games in Bahrain in December 15 and 17 later this year as part of the league's 50th anniversary celebrations, PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial and Bahrain Basketball Association president Alaa Mudara announced.

They made the revelation during the halftime of Game 5 of the PBA Finals at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. "The PBA is so grateful na inimbita tayo ng Bahrain na maglaro officially," Marcial expressed. This is the first time PBA games will be hosted in the said country, said Marcial and as confirmed by Mudara. The Bahrain leg will feature three teams, and the PBA has already signed the contract, according to the PBA executive.

This comes after the Dubai stop of PBA in October.
