In a series of Instagram Stories, the "It's Showtime" host shared a photo of her view from inside a plane, saying she was en route to Dubai in the UAE to reunite with her family. “Was on my way to meet my little fam in Dubai when I noticed a high-speed jet flying beside us,” she wrote in her first post. “I notice another one, and next thing I knew, they announced we would be turning around and making our way back to Milan due to the airstrikes. All flights to the Middle East have been grounded,” she said in the follow-up story.

The actress said she was praying for "all the families in the Middle East." "Hoping things ease soon," she added. Curtis was in the Italian city to attend fashion week, based on posts on her Instagram account.
