Animam adds perfect Taiwan run to unbeaten collegiate stint

March 23 ------ Jack Danielle Animam captures her 6th collegiate championship by powering Shih Hsin University to a perfect campaign in the University Basketball Association. Going undefeated for a season is already a daunting task to accomplish on its own, what more for an entire collegiate career. Jack Danielle Animam did just that as she extended her unbeaten streak in the amateur ranks to 96-0 after keying the Shih Hsin University to a perfect run in the University Basketball Association (UBA) in Taiwan.

Animam and Shin Hsin dominated the National Taiwan Normal University, 70-51, in the finals on Sunday, March 21, to complete their stellar 18-0 sweep of the UBA season. Impressive throughout her Taiwan stint, Animam shone in the final game of the season with 18 points, 20 rebounds, and 4 assists. Aside from clinching the championship, the 22-year-old also ended the season as the top rebounder with 12.3 rebounds through the semifinals, with the UBA not including statistics in the finals in the league rankings. Overall, Animam wrapped up her campaign with norms of 17.1 points, 14.1 rebounds, 2.6 steals, and 1.9 blocks.

The Taiwan title only amplified the spectacular collegiate career of Animam, who netted five straight UAAP championships with National University by featuring in 78 straight victories
