Alden Richards spends day with charities in celebration of 15 showbiz anniversary

December 12 ------ Alden Richards spent a whole day doing his care-a-van, visiting charities in celebration of his 15 years in showbiz. According to Athena Imperial’s report on “24 Oras,” Thursday, the Asia’s Multimedia Star offered help and brought joy to Tahanang Walang Hagdan in Rizal, the orthopedic department of East Avenue Medical Center, and the Philippine Animal Welfare Society in Quezon City.

“Para lang ma-champion din natin ‘yung purpose and spreading kindness in doing goodwill to our community, the team decided to come up with a caravan to send out kung ano ‘yung kailangan nila doon, ng tulong, and to give quality time to the people who are involved also within the community,” Alden said.

The Kapuso actor hopes to continue doing the initiative in the coming years. “This will not happen only this year. We’ll see to it that every year we’re able to do such executions, kasi that’s our main objective right now, is of course, yung messaging ng whole 15 years is to give back and do everything with a purpose,” he said.

Alden also has an upcoming 15th anniversary show, the ARXV: Moving ForwARd fan meet. He said that it is "something that has never been done with all of my events.” “Nahirapan nga ako during rehearsals to do it 'cause I tend to become really emotional. But it’s a first and gusto ko ring ipakita ‘yung side na ‘yon sa mga taong nagmamahal at sumusuporta sa 'kin,” Alden said.

The event is happening on December 13. In October, Alden was named among the Most Influential Celebrities at the 11th EdukCircle Awards. He also received the Men Who Matter 2025 trophy from PeopleAsia magazine back in August.
