Alden Richards, ‘Sang’gre’ leads, ‘PBB’ alums, more light up Sparkle Trenta show

November 19 ------ The artists of Sparkle GMA Talent Center — including Alden Richards, the lead stars of “Sang’gre,” Kapuso housemates of “Pinoy Big Brother, and Barbie Forteza — joined forces at the Sparkle Trenta: 30th anniversary concert to honor the agency’s legacy.
The star-studded show, which was held at the Amphitheatre of SM Mall of Asia on Saturday, November 15, was a mix of dance performances, renditions of hit songs, and a display of Sparkle’s biggest names and stars poised to establish themselves in the entertainment industry.
After performing a rendition of “Uptown Girl” for his fans, Richards led his Sparkle labelmates in announcing the launch of the agency’s newest campaign, “ClicKindness,” which is aimed at reminding the public to be kind at all times. While donning figure-baring outfits in their respective colors, “Sang’gre” lead stars Bianca Umali, Angel Guardian, Faith da Silva, and Kelvin Miranda turned up the heat with a fiery dance routine.
“Pinoy Big Brother” alums Mika Salamanca, Charlie Fleming, AZ Martinez, Shuvee Etrata, Josh Ford, Michael Sager, and Vince Maristela also participated in a series of dance routines with their labelmates before coming together as a group. Salamanca also had a solo stage where she performed her rendition of “Sino Nga Ba Siya,” while Etrata showed off her curvy figure while dancing along to Tyla’s “Water.”
Another highlight of the night was Jillian Ward’s explosive performance of Beyoncé’s “Deja Vu” where she showed off her dancing skills and vocal prowess. Barbie Forteza, who’s known for being an avid fan of Taylor Swift, channeled her inner showgirl as she performed songs from the singer-songwriter’s latest album “Life of a Showgirl.” Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee also took the stage for a performance of her solo track “Reyna.” Other stars present at the event were Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz, Rita Daniela, Sef Cadayona, Miguel Tanfelix, Edgar Allan Guzman, Shaira Diaz, Boobay, Jayson Gainza, and Ai-Ai delas Alas, among many others. /edv
