August 14 ------ Alden Richards received his Men Who Matter 2025 trophy from PeopleAsia magazine. During the event held at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City, Alden donned a black Barong Tagalog.

On his Instagram, Alden said the award is "another motivation to do more and be more." "Thank you, People Asia," he added. Other Men Who Matter awardees include senators Bam Aquino and Tito Sotto, among others.

Back in June, Asia’s Multimedia Star graced the cover of PeopleAsia magazine and was recognized for his top-grossing film of all time, “Hello, Love, Again,” as well as his newly minted role as a director of “Out of Order.” Alden was among the Kapuso stars who lit up the blue carpet of the GMA Gala 2025 earlier in August. In July, he officially enrolled in a flight school.
