Alas Pilipinas Girls overcome Indonesia to clinch another Princess Cup bronze

June 29 ------ Alas Pilipinas Girls clinched the bronze medal in the 2026 Southeast Asian Girls' U18 Volleyball Championship (23rd Princess Cup).

This, as the young squad overcame Indonesia in five long sets, 27-25, 27-29, 18-25, 25-22, 15-11. It was a back-to-back podium finish for the Alas U18, after winning the bronze in last year's iteration of the tournament. They fell to the third-place match after falling to Thailand yesterday, 19-25, 26-28, 23-25.

Alas Girls will return to action in the AVC Girls' U18 Volleyball Championship, where they are also expected to face Indonesia again.
