Ahtisa Manalo drips in gold in new pre-Miss Universe 2025 shoot

October 13 ------ Ahtisa Manalo showed off her sultry side in a gold-themed photoshoot as she kicked off her campaign for the Miss Universe 2025 pageant. In the first round of her Miss Universe 2025 snaps posted on Instagram, Manalo was waist-deep in a pool of gold in an asymmetrical lamé dress by Job Dacon, which she accessorized with molten gold fingerless gloves and nail extensions. Her hair was done in a slicked-back style, while her makeup consisted of a sparkly gold eyeshadow and bold red lips.

The beauty queen’s look was put together by makeup artist Anthea Bueno, hairstylist Jay Aquino, and stylists Aj Alberto and Christopher Ian Vinarao. Meanwhile, BJ Pascual took charge of the photography, while Eldzs Mejia and Justine Arcega-Bumanlag served as the creative director and set designer, respectively. “Let’s start with this,” Manalo captioned her post while tagging her team.

The social media platforms of the Miss Universe Philippines tilt shared a campaign video kicking off Manalo’s journey for the country’s fifth title. The clip showed the beauty queen in a series of looks, including snippets of her wearing her Val Taguba gown during her national pageant and a sultry red gown. “The journey continues, And this time, it’s for U,” the caption read.

The pageant veteran is on a quest to bring home the Philippines’ fifth Miss Universe crown after Gloria Diaz, Margarita Moran, Pia Wurtzbach, and Catriona Gray, whom she referred to as one of her Binibini sisters. Manalo is not new to the international pageant scene, as she was named first runner-up at Miss International 2018 and a Top 10 candidate at the Miss Cosmo tilt last year.
