September 19 ------ The Sexbomb Girls are gearing up for their upcoming reunion concert this December! According to Nelson Canlas’ report on “24 Oras,” the event promises a combination of hit songs, killer dance moves, and a little bit of nostalgia.

Ahead of the show, Rochelle Pangilinan expressed the group’s desire to extend their enduring legacy to a younger demographic. “Sana ‘yung legacy na iniwan ng Sexbomb no’ng 2000, nakasabay namin ang mga Millennials, eh maipasa sa Gen Z hanggang Gen Alpha,” she said. Mia Pangyarihan said that they have always talked about holding a concert. “Every Christmas party, lagi namin siya pinag-uusapan, lagi namin siya pinagkukuwentuhan, until this year talaga, actually last year, ‘no, nag-usap na tayo. Sabi niya, ‘Tara na!’” she said.

Weng Ibarra also acknowledged their journey to this moment. “Kasi ang tagal na. Ito na talaga eh. Ang daming pagkakataon na gustong mabuo ito, ang grupo, pero ngayon lang talaga,” she said. Weng added that, “Tumatanda na ako eh. Baka ‘di na ako makapag-split.”

The Sexbomb Girls rose to fame for their daily appearances on a noontime TV variety show. The group later starred in the afternoon soap, "Daisy Siete," and became top recording artists. They were such a Filipino pop culture phenomenon that long after the members went their separate ways, Sexbomb and their songs are still remembered fondly by fans. In 2023, six of the Sexbomb Girls reunited for a Netflix ad, dancing to their popular hit "Spaghetti Song." The Sexbomb Girls’ reunion concert is happening on December 4 at the Araneta Coliseum.
