Abi Marquez wins Best Food Blogger at World Influencers and Bloggers Awards

May 26 ------ Pinoy pride beams once again as the country's very own Lumpia Queen, Abi Marquez, achieved another international recognition! Recently, the food content creator took to social media to happily announce her award as Best Food Blogger at the World Influencers and Bloggers Awards (WIBA) 2025 in Cannes, France. "OMG GUYS NANALO AKO," Abi captioned, along with a picture of her and the trophy.

For the special evening, Abi turned heads with her stunning custom red Filipiniana by designer Jo Rubio. The gown was extra special as it was an inspiration from the iconic Pinoy comfort food, spaghetti! From her jewelry, purse, down to her nails, every detail paid homage to the dish. The gown even proudly showcased the phrase “Kain tayo,” turning the red carpet into a celebration of Filipino culture and cuisine.

Meanwhile, Abi's international recognition continues as she was named as one of the Top 100 Most Influential Filipinos in the World. In 2024, Abi also made waves after being nominated at the James Beard Media Awards under the Social Media Account category and was included in Forbes' 30 Under 30 Asia Class of 2024. As if that wasn't enough, Abi also earned praise from none other than Chef Gordon Ramsay himself after bravely taking on the challenge of making a Beef Wellington Lumpia--a fusion of Filipino creativity and international flair.
