60th Miss International pageant to push through in December

Metro Manila, May 7 ------ The 60th edition of Miss International beauty pageant will finally push through in Japan this December after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the pageant organizers announced on May 3.

The pageant said that this year’s batch of candidates must be taking part in advocacies in line with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals. “Prior to the arrival of all the delegates, we will make sure that each one has been taking part in various activities that promote the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals,” the organizers posted in their social media pages.

“#BeautiesForSDGs is Miss International's humble way to utilize our national titleholders' influence in spreading awareness, as well as actively taking part in SDGs initiatives in their own country or region,” they added. Binibining Pilipinas International 2021 Hannah Arnold will aim for the country’s seventh Miss International crown. “Thank you Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. for this blessing to continue my dream journey. This is such an exciting news that my MI sisters and I have been praying for and messaging a lot about,” Arnold said in an Instagram post.
