Ylona Garcia has joined 88rising – the same music collective that has helped bring talents such as NIKI, Rich Brian, and Joji to the world stage. 88rising took to Instagram to welcome Ylona to their team. "Good things to come," they said in the post.
According to Bandwagon, Ylona will be under Paradise Rising, a label under 88rising and Globe Telecom that focuses on Filipino artists. Ylona also posted on her own Instagram saying, "Sooner than you think," and tagging 88rising. The Filipina singer first rose to fame when she became first runner-up in Pinoy Big Brother: 737. Born in Australia, she moved back there in 2020, and has been based there since.
