Actor Taylor Lautner announced on Sunday, November 14, that he is now engaged to Taylor Dome, his girlfriend of three years. On Instagram, the 29-year-old actor shared photos from his proposal. “And just like that, all of my wishes came true,” he captioned the post, adding that the event happened on November 11, 2021.
In the photos, Lautner is seen wearing a suit while down on one knee, while Dome is barefoot and covering her face in shock. The couple were in front of a fireplace and surrounded by rose petals and candles. Additionally, the romantic setup also had a neon sign spelling “Lautner” in the background. Dome, a registered nurse, also confirmed the news on her Instagram, calling Lautner as her “absolute best friend.” “I cannot wait to spend forever with you,” she said.
Fellow celebrities have congratulated the couple, including Lautner’s Twilight co-star Nikki Reed. “Oh my goodness! This makes me want to cry! Wow! Congrats to you both,” she wrote in the comments section. Lautner is best known for his role as Jacob Black in the Twilight series, which starred Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. Lautner’s engagement announcement comes two weeks after Stewart also announced that she’s engaged to partner Dylan Meyler. Aside from Twilight, Lautner also starred in television series Scream Queens and Cuckoo, and films Run the Tide, Tracers, and The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl.
