The IMMAJ-PJMCC Foundation, Inc. successfully delivered the fourth run of IMO Model Course 3.12 Training for Assessors from 16 to 27 July 2018 at the JSU-AMOSUP Mariner’s Home, 1765 Vasquez St. corner Nakpil Sts., Malate, Manila.
The course was attended by nine (9) participants endorsed by PJMCC member companies. The class, also known as “Batch Marineros 7/18”, was facilitated by seasoned instructors, CE Christopher P. Maambong and Ms. Ana Maria Jasmin M. Sampedro.
The 10-day course aims to train the attendees on applying international provisions concerning the training, assessment, examination and certification of masters, officers and ratings of merchant vessels.
On the last day of the training, 27 July 2018, a simple graduation ceremony for the trainees was held. During the ceremony, certificates were awarded to the graduates by Ms. Sampedro, Lead Instructor.
