September 29 ------ Actress Carmi Martin announced on Monday, September 28 that she has survived the coronavirus. Carmi shared on her Facebook page that she took a swab test because she was set to do a digital project for Star Cinema. Her test turned out to be positive.
"I really felt bad because I have no symptoms except for my BP shooting up, and also for not being able to do the project since I was so prepared and really was so excited to do it," she shared. She added: "The two-week quarantine became A HONEYMOON WITH GOD. I spent each day with prayers and praying for others, singing beautiful songs for our Lord and listening to excellent preachings each day."
The actress said that aside from prayers, eating healthy and regular exercise helped her recover from the virus. She also thanked her good friends, actresses Coney Reyes and Gladys Reyes, and the ABS-CBN medical team for taking care of her. She ended her post by saying that her faith in God strengthened her during the ordeal. "Panginoong Diyos, salamat sa pagkakataon na mas lalo akong manalig sa iyo at maging blessing sa ibang tao na may mga pinagdadaan sa panahon ng COVID," Carmi said. "My two-week quarantine was so precious because spending time with GOD will always be the BEST! PRAISE GOD for I am now COVID-free!" she added.
