Anne Curtis donates medical supplies to aid frontliners at four health institutions

March 26 ------ Anne Curtis may be thousands of miles away from the Philippines, but no distance is too far for her to show the kind of love she has for the madlang people.  Even though she is currently in Australia, she managed to donate medical supplies for the frontliners in the medical field who are tirelessly working amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Last March 25, the 35-year-old Kapamilya celebrity took to social media to share photos of the donations she made to four public health institutions in Metro Manila. These included Dr. Jose Rodriguez Memorial Hospital, Lung Center of the Philippines, San Lazaro Hospital, and Research Institute of Tropical Medicine.

The It’s Showtime host donated 50 gallons of alcohol 3,000 pieces of gloves for each of the said public health institutions through her Dream Machine Foundation. “Maraming Salamat po for your dedication and hard work. I pray for your safety and health as you continue to put your own well-being on the line. I hope makatulong po ito,” she wrote.  The actress-philanthropist, who revealed that there would be a second batch of donations, said next on her list are face masks and goggles. “We have face masks and goggles still to follow but because it’s hard to find stock hiwa-hiwalay ang delivery. Thank you din sa lahat na nag send ng mga suppliers sa IG ko na may stocks pa,” she stated.

Anne thanked her team in the Philippines for making everything possible even though she wasn't physically present to help them out.  “Sa Dream Machine team ko, thank you for working hard to contact the suppliers and making sure legit sila habang wala ako at tutok sa mommy duties muna,” she said.  Encouraging people to donate as well, she ended her post by writing: “If you can and are able, Let’s all work together to help protect those who are risking their lives for the Filipino people.” Curtis, who gave birth to her daughter Dahlia Amélie last March 2, is still on maternity leave and is with her husband Erwan Heussaff in Australia.
