Boys Like Girls announced its rescheduled shows in Asia and Australia via its Facebook page, yesterday, March 18. The rock band will be performing in Cebu on Sept. 15. followed by two more shows in Manila on Sept. 16 and 17. “Sad to say, unfortunately due to the COVID-19 spread, we have to reschedule our [Asia and Australia] tour dates,” the band said. “We wanted to play so badly for you, but also we want to keep everyone safe and healthy.”

Boys Like Girl also confirmed that all previously purchased tickets will be valid during these new dates. The postponement of the shows of these two acts adds to the growing list of local and international events and concerts whose schedules have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
