Guinataang halu-halo is a mixture of fruits with coconut milk. Thid dish does not fail to delight Filipinos as it fills thestomach with rich tase and aroma.
Ingredients:
5 cups coconut milk
1 sweet potato, diced
2 gabi (yam or taro root), diced
2 ripe bananas (saba), diced
˝ cup fresh langka, cut into strips
1 cup sago (tapioca)
˝ cup sugar
Procedure:
1. Simmer coconut milk over moderate heat while continuously stirring to prevent lumps.
2. Add sweet potato, gabi and bananas and cook for 20 minutes or until potato and gabi are done.
3. Add remaining ingredients. Stir to dissolve sugar and cook for five more minutes.
