Barangay Ginebra ended FedEx's winning streak last May 25 and took a 106-97 victory in the 2005 PBA Fiesta Conference at the Araneta Coliseum.

The Gin Kings sprung back to life with a big run late in the second quarter behind Mark Caguioa to notch their eighth win in 17 games.

The win ended FedEx's 4-game winning streak and the Express dropped into solo fourth at 9-8 (win-loss).

The Gins prevented Express to advance to the Final Four by enhancing their chances for the No. 2 spot.

However, all is not lost for FedEx. The Express must beat the Beermen to at least forge a playoff for the No. 2 seed and the automatic semifinal berth that goes with it.
