Pimentel admits no evidence vs Mike Arroyo

Senate minority leader Aquilino Pimentel Jr. admitted on May 24 that nobody among his 32 potential witnesses has linked Mike Arroyo to jueteng.

Pimentel said he has about 8 more potential witnesses besides the 24 he had asked Sen. Lito Lapid, chair of the Senate Committee on Games, Amusements and Sports, to invite as resource persons to its investigation into the proliferation of jueteng.

The senator, however, refused to reveal the names of the eight new potential witnesses, saying that he can't assure anybody that all of the witnesses will attend the Senate's hearing.

The hearing on jueteng will open on May 30.
