Showing its continuous support and commitment to brother unions, JSU vice-president Kazuo Kataoka attended the 50th anniversary of the Associated Labor Unions-Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (ALU-TUCP) on April 16 -17 in Cebu City, Philippines.

The President of the Philippines, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, and Secretary of Labor and Employment, Patricia P. Sto. Tomas, also graced the said celebration.

Kataoka congratulated and praised ALU-TUCP for its half century of service on behalf of labor, and expressed his wishes for further success in the coming years.
