A son of former senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago was pronounced dead on arrival by doctors of a Metro Manila hospital the evening of November 20, reports said.
Alexander Santiago, 21, sustained a gunshot wound at the left side of his nape, which went through his skull, according to Dr. Amy Banaag.
According to Banaag, the younger Santiago was found in a room, lying in a pool of blood. She said the gunshot did not seem to have been fired at close range.
Banaag, however, did not specify where the incident was reported to have occurred.
